The proposed Turley Annexaton in Alpine will be delayed to a future council meeting, with a date possibly coming as early as the November 2 Town Council meeting.
The annexation was under consideration by the Alpine Town Council earlier this year when it drew stiff community opposition at an Alpine Planning and Zoning (P&Z) meeting on July 28. At the time a petition for opposition included 550 names.
The phased development includes 54 units, that would include both duplex and six-plex housing.
The proposal was submitted by Steven C. Turley, Alpine Property Holdings Group, LLC and Premier Realty Investments, LLC.
The Annexation request includes 46.35 acres of land located in Section 29, Township 37 North, Range 118 West, Lincoln County, Wyoming, adjacent to the Town of Alpine.
