On Saturday, May 10, local resident Hannah Guear will host a free women’s clothing drive at 404 Snake River Drive in Alpine, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event focus is to provide quality clothing to women in need. Items include professional attire to casual wear, including maternity clothes and dresses.

Organizer Hannah Guear initiated the clothing drive after an acquaintance offered a substantial donation of new and gently used women’s clothing. Reflecting past experiences, Guear shared, “There was a time in my life when I relied on clothing donations to help with my appearance for job hunting, and then dressing for work. This was a lifesaver until I was able to provide for myself.”

With support from the community, numerous donations have been pouring in. Guear emphasized her desire to personally witness the impact of the donations, stating, “I wanted to see the joy in the people receiving the donations.”

Community members are encouraged to contribute additional women’s clothing in new or gently used condition by bringing items to the event location. “They are brand-new clothes with the tags still attached or lightly used,” Guear emphasizes. “If donating, please keep this in mind.” Remaining clothing after the giveaway will be donated to various charitable organizations.
