A water main break will affect residents in the town of Alpine today, June 27,  according to information provided by town officials.

A transmission line break has resulted in a widespread water service outage across most of the town, an alert from the town stated. Crews are working to resolve the issue and service is expected to be restored by 5 p.m. Friday.

Just over 1,200 residents call Alpine home.
