This Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10-3, the Star Valley Historical Society will hold their annual Antique Tractor and Equipment Show at the Freedom Ball Park on Weber Lane.

Everyone is invited to bring any aged tractor or equipment, hopefully with a story to tell.  You can also just stop by and enjoy good conversation with friends. We have invited a food truck to set up so all can buy lunch.

Eugene Weber brought the first steam tractor to Star Valley in 1912, plowing most of the ground in the Etna area with a six bottom plow. He also operated a sawmill with the steam engine. Eugene passed away in 1917. What became of his tractor, plow and saw mill ? Was it sold to someone else in Etna and Alpine area? Contact the Star Valley Historical Society if you have information.
