Alpine is moving forward with plans for a new charter school after passing a resolution at Tuesday night’s town council meeting.
The resolution calls for the mayor to negotiate the terms of a five-year lease agreement with the Alpine Charter Board for town owned land, or other property within the town.
The final lease agreement will be presented to the town council for approval. The resolution also calls for the mayor to actively work with the Alpine Air Park and the Alpine Education Foundation to find property for the school that benefit all parties.
