Proposed 46.35 acre Turley Annexation. COURTESY GRAPHIC/TOWN OF ALPINE
The Turley annexation public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Alpine Civic Center, 121 US Hwy 89, Alpine, WY.
The Town Council adopted a hearing format with 30 minutes for the applicants’ presentation and council questions, followed by 75 minutes for public comment.
Commenters must sign up at the beginning of the hearing and are limited to three minutes each.
The proposed Turley Annexation has been under consideration by the Alpine Town Council earlier this year when it drew stiff community opposition at an Alpine Planning and Zoning (P&Z) meeting on July 28. At the time a petition for opposition included 550 names.
The phased development includes 54 units, that would include both duplex and six-plex housing.
The proposal was submitted by Steven C. Turley, Alpine Property Holdings Group, LLC and Premier Realty Investments, LLC.
The Annexation request includes 46.35 acres of land located in Section 29, Township 37 North, Range 118 West, Lincoln County, Wyoming, adjacent to the Town of Alpine.
