A single motorcycle crash near Palisades Reservoir on Wednesday evening has claimed the life of a Victor, ID man.

Idaho State Police report that the accident occurred on June 5 at 8:12 p.m. on US26 at milepost 391.5, which is near Big Elk Creek roughly seven miles south of the town of Irwin, Idaho in Swan Valley.

According to ISP, the 47-year-old man was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound and failed to negotiate the curve. The rider was not wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries on scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
