Logan Wilson was in the news this week, but it wasn’t in the most flattering way. The former University of Wyoming linebacker was told his snaps would be reduced, making way for a rookie to play more.

Wilson didn’t pout or make a scene, he just prepared like he always has and helped his understudy. And wouldn’t you know it, Wilson still produced at a high level in the Bengals’ 33-31 victory over Pittsburgh.

He made four tackles and defended a pass. For the season, Wilson possesses 41 tackles, has defended four passes and owns a fumble recovery for 3-4 Cincinnati.

Below is a list of all the former Wyoming Cowboys and how they did in Week 7.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos

Crum was active and played for the first time this season in the Broncos’ 33-32 come-from-behind win over the New York Giants. The Laramie native played eight snaps, five on offense and three on special teams.
Denver, which improved to 5-2, hosts Dallas in Week 8.

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars

Wingard showcased a strong game in the Jaguars’ 35-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He racked up five tackles and defended one pass.

For the season, Wingard has logged 39 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery, three passes defended and one quarterback hit for 4-3 Jacksonville.

The Jaguars are idle in Week 8.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

Granderson returned to form, somewhat, in the Saints’ 26-14 loss at Chicago. He recorded three tackles.

For the season, Granderson possesses 30 tackles, 4.5 sacks – which ranks in a tie for 15th in the league – six tackles for loss, two passes defended and six quarterback hits for 1-6 New Orleans.

The Saints host Tampa Bay in Week 8.

Chad Muma, Indianapolis Colts

Muma did not record a stat in the Colts’ 38-24 win at the Los Angeles Chargers.

For the season, Muma has registered five tackles for 6-1 Indianapolis.

The Colts host Tennessee in Week 8.

Marcus Epps, Philadelphia Eagles

Epps did not record a stat in the Eagles’ 28-22 win at Minnesota.

For the season, Epps has four tackles for 5-2 Philadelphia.

The Eagles host the New York Giants in Week 8.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Allen and the Bills were idle in Week 7.

For the season, Allen is 122-for-178 for 1,397 yards with 11 touchdowns and five picks. He’s rushed it 46 times totaling 254 yards with three scores for 4-2 Buffalo.

The Bills travel to Carolina in Week 8.

Treyton Welch, New Orleans Saints

Welch has yet to be elevated from the practice squad.
