Lincoln County Commissioner Mel Shumway stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, October 26 for the monthly report from the commission. Commissioner Shumway discussed the announcement from ownership of Kemmerer Operations Coal Mine that they plan to close the mine in 2029. Shumway also touched on an interagency fire agreement, roadless rule and the forest service revision plan.
