The following is a news release from the Town of Alpine –

Mayor Eric Green and Public Works Director Craig Leseberg met with representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to discuss the ongoing boil water advisory currently in place for the Town of Alpine on Monday. Over the weekend, two water samples were submitted for testing, and both came back with normal results. However, as an added precaution, the EPA has requested two more samples be collected today, June 30.

Results from these new samples are expected by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1. The EPA will review the results before deciding whether the boil water advisory can be lifted.

In the meantime, the Town is providing cases of bottled drinking water for residents, which is available for pickup at the Alpine Fire Department.

The Town of Alpine is working closely with the EPA to ensure the water supply is safe and will continue to keep residents updated as new information becomes available.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and cooperation.
