Two people were transported to the Star Valley Health Emergency Room in Alpine following a small plane crash on Sunday, August 10.
Alpine Fire Chief Mike Vogt said his department was dispatched at roughly 10:00 a.m. to a private neighborhood that uses a golf course as an airstrip. A small airplane was found upside down at the end of the runway. Both the pilot and passenger were transported with non-life threatening injuries.
Chief Vogt said he is unaware of the cause of the accident and that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will handle the investigation, if any.
