Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on US26, near Irwin, ID

Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred at 2:38 p.m. on May 24, 2025, on eastbound US26 at milepost 386 in Bonneville County.

At approximately 2:38 p.m., a 46 -year-old male from Farmington, Utah was traveling westbound on US26 in a 2020 black GMC Yukon. The Yukon crossed over the center line and collided with a semi-truck that was headed eastbound.  The driver of the semi-truck, a 44-year-old male from Idaho Falls, and his passengers, a 52-year-old female from Idaho Falls, and a juvenile, were all wearing seatbelts and sustained minor injuries

The driver of the Yukon sustained injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the Yukon was also wearing his seatbelt.

US26 has been closed for three hours as clean-up crews clear the road. US26 is still closed currently.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by Swan Valley Fire Department and the Idaho Transportation Department.

The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
